Driving home last night after a wedding was a sublime experience, and the perfect end to the summer.  I could still taste my last shot of bourbon, lean my head back to look through the sunroof and see the Milky Way, smell the Ponderosa Pines and the American River and from the sound of it, there were as many frogs and crickets as stars in the sky.

I believe that it’s not the big moments that sustain you but rather the little ones that you can lose yourself in. The big moments call attention to themselves, the little call attention to your place in the world.
